Alisdair Mann
I arrived in the Scottish glens feeling lost , uncertain of where I was heading or who I even was anymore.
Over three days, something powerful shifted. In that space surrounded by nature and honesty, I found permission, permission to stop holding it all together.
To cry.
To let go.
To breathe again.
Together we stripped back the noise, the expectations, and the labels, moving from “Who am I?” to “Who I am.”
We explored new perspectives, new maps, and found our “H spot” — who helps, who brings hope, and who hinders. I built a bond with Dave and Debbie that I’ll always carry with me. Dave who I now proudly call my brother. Inspires me every day to go out and do cool, meaningful things. And Debbie, who cooked for us with such heart and flair, shared dishes worthy of her The Taste UK win even recreating her winning menu on our first night. From fireside reflection to an evening of inspiration at Gleneagles and Restaurant Andrew Fairlie, every detail reminded me what it means to live fully, courageously, and with intention. I left feeling calm, clear, and connected not just to myself, but to the incredible people who shared the journey.
It wasn’t just a retreat. It was a release, a reset, and a return to who I truly am.
